Under the supervision of the Volunteer Services Manager, the assistant will provide support and administrative skills for the Volunteer Services program including The Brethren Home Auxiliary. In the absence of the (Manager), the Associate will coordinate volunteer coverage in addition to other departmental functions in accordance with departmental policy. Associate will also provide fundraising support. Scope of duties range from moderately complex to complex. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service. This position requires the ability to focus various talents, skills and education on the management of the administrative functions of a volunteer office; the capacity to exercise good judgment and discretion in the handling of highly confidential information; the capacity and willingness to relate to and be sensitive to the needs of the elderly, volunteers, Team Members, Residents, and the general public; willingness to promote and abide by CKV-TBHC Community Mission Statement and philosophy; excellent communication skills. Access to PHI (Protected Health Information) will be based on Manager/Directors approval related to job responsibilities. MUST have a valid drivers license. Adheres to the organization’s and department’s policies, procedures and code of conduct.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of college or Associate Degree from recognized business/secretarial school or related work experience, with emphasis on computers and word processing.
