SUMMARY:

The Director of Life Enrichment fosters and integrates the Social, Emotional, Vocational and Intellectual dimensions of Wellness into the residential living community.  In particular, the Director of Life Enrichment will have a passion for connecting with CKV community with arts and culture.  This articulate communicator handles all aspects of researching, preparing and promoting community events or programs related to life-long learning and to the arts, including, but not limited to lectures, classes, concerts and performances.  This dynamic individual will book visual, performance and literary artists for events and collaborate with other event stakeholders to go over important details.  The Director must have the ability to assess and respond to community interests in creating opportunities that enliven and enhance the individual and the collective experience.  The director will assist with the development of informational materials such as brochures, newsletters or press releases.  In collaboration with the Foundation Office, identifying opportunities for sponsorships, grants and funding sources for various program ideas exist.  Serving as a Liaison to a number of vibrant, Resident-led committees is also an important function of this position.

Qualification, Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required with Master's degree preferred and/or several years of experience in a Human Services, Arts & Entertainment and/or Education-related field.  Experience in developing and implementing a variety of cultural arts and educational programs.
