Nurse Aide Training Program 

Are you a CKV Team member who is interested in becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant? If so, CKV wants to help you grow your nursing career! To begin the process to be considered for sponsorship, please ensure you fall within the guidelines below, and simply submit an internal application for review!

In order to be eligible for upfront financial aid for the Nurse Aide Training Program, team members must be in good standing and met the following guidelines; 
 

• Must be employed with CKV for at least 6 consecutive months
• Recommended by supervisor 
• Have no active corrective actions or attendance concerns
• Willing to remain employed at CKV for a least one year in a regular schedule after obtaining certification

Candidates  will go through an interview/screening process and will also be required to shadow a current CNA/RA on the floor (ability to shadow will be reviewed based upon current safety precautions at the time of  the selection process). If selected to be sponsored by CKV for the Nurse Aide Training Program, team members will reach out to Harrisburg Area Community College to register for the class.Upon registration and completion of the screening process, CKV will pay the full amount for the class and the exam. Please know that CKV will not cover the cost for a test re-test if one is needed.

CKV will pay team members their current rate (including shift differentials when applicable) while in the class with proof of daily attendance. Between completion of the class and the exam test date, team members will continue to work in their current role. Once candidates have passed the exam, they must commit to transferring to a CNA role.
