Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is hiring a Director of Facility Maintenance.

 

SUMMARY

The Director of Facility Maintenance is responsible for the activities of the Facility Maintenance Department. The scope of job duties is diverse and complex, and the quality of decisions made directly affects the safety and well-being of our Residents as well as the success of Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community. The Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service and assures compliance with regulatory agencies including but not limited to: Department of Health, Department of Labor, and OSHA.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field are strongly preferred. Applicants should have a thorough understanding of building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC disciplines as well as management principles, and concepts as would be acquired through a course of study and at least 5-10 years of related work experience in a healthcare setting. The Director of Facility Maintenance must have previous experience developing and executing budgets, and managing processes. He/she must be able to practice independent judgement frequently, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be responsible for leading/directing a team. A valid driver’s license is also required.
