Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community is currently searching for two Restorative CNAs.

These positions will both be full-time, day shift hours.

SUMMARY:
 
Restorative CNAs administer range of motion exercises and assist with ambulation in accordance with home procedures and state/federal regulations for the purpose of maintaining and improving Residents’ physical and ambulatory functions.  They maintain home safety and sanitation standards and work under the general direction of the Restorative LPN.  Work is routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment, adequacy and accuracy.  The scope of job duties are complex, and the quality of work contributes to Resident and co-worker safety and well-being.  The Restorative Nursing Assistant must be proficient in basic nursing care duties as well as Range of Motion exercises.  The Restorative Nursing Assistant encourages the Resident to function at their maximum level of independence and is responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent customer service.

 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
 
1.  Completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program and enrollment in Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
2.  Working knowledge of basic nursing techniques and physical rehabilitation.
3.  One to three years of Nursing Assistant experience is preferred.  Continuing education is required per state/federal regulations.
4.  Access to PHI (Protected Health Information) will be based on Manager/Directors approval related to job responsibilities.
