Housekeeper – Health Care Center (Mission Point)
 

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a hard working and passionate individual to become a part of our team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care and a clean atmosphere. Our current needs include:

• Full-time: Day shift working 75 hours per pay period; weekend and holiday rotation is required.

In our Health Care Center, more commonly referred to as Mission Point, you will find our outstanding team assisting residents in five distinct neighborhoods – specializing in long-term care, memory care and short-term rehab. Our team members work together to create a more active and purposeful life for our residents, so they can lead healthier and more fulfilled lives.

Job Description:

As a Housekeeper, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Cleaning neighborhood areas including hallways, resident living areas, lounges, bathrooms and utility rooms.
• Extracting carpets in resident rooms and other areas as assigned.
• Maintaining the Cross Keys Village safety, sanitation and infection control policies.
• Keeping resident/employee confidentiality and working as a team within the department.

Education and Experience:

• Working knowledge of commercial cleaning and floor care as would be acquired through a minimum of 6 months experience or 2-3 years general cleaning experience preferred.
• Proficient use of cleaning agents and use/maintenance of equipment including floor burnishers, carpet extractors and vacuum cleaners preferred.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, a friendly attitude and teamwork abilities.
