Job Description:
 

As a Billing Specialist, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Processing and following through on claim cycle from submission to collection. This process includes, but is not limited to, formatting text files and uploading to billing software, auditing claims through triple check process and transmitting through clearinghouse. Sorts and verifies private statements against census.
• Maintaining resident demographic information within the CKV system and communicates changes with internal and external parties as appropriate.
• Coordinating resident vendor invoices; determining appropriate pay or source for payment.
• Handling and reconciling daily cash transactions.
• Providing quality customer service to residents of the community as well as internal and external customers.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of PA Medical Assistance long term care and Medicare regulations is preferred. 
• Must have the ability to work independently and use good judgment.
