Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking an experienced office professional  to become a part of our Human Resources team! As a Administrative Assistant working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values. 


This opening is for a full-time, day shift position

Job Description

As the Human Resources Administrative Assistant, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
  • Coordinating and handling the clerical and administrative functions for the Human Resources team.
  • Maintaining personnel files, both electronic and paper files. Monitoring file storage and archives files as designated in policy. Assures all personnel files comply with personnel file format.
  • Providing clerical support for Human Resources team: Types and distributes various external correspondences, types from drafts, completes forms and updates records, receives and directs mail.
  • Providing data entry in various systems for new hires and current/terminated team members.
  • Maintaining and coordinating updates to Human Resources policies/procedures.
  • Preparing agendas and making arrangements for committee, department, and other meetings.
  • Performing receptionist duties: screens telephone calls, provides information to callers, take and relay messages, gives general information to visitors and callers, greets and screens applicants.
  • Assisting with necessary preparations for New Hire Orientation, various programs, education and events.
  • Processes, verifies, and maintains documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and classifications.


Education and Experience 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer literacy in a variety of programs and software packages required.
