Cross Keys Village – The Brethren Home Community is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative to our Maintenance and Information Services teams. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional service and compassionate care to our community.
Position Type: Full-time (75 hours biweekly)
Schedule: Day Shift Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Job Description
As an Administrative Assistant your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Providing clerical and administrative support for both Maintenance and Information Service.
- Answering and screening incoming phone calls to the Maintenance and Information Services Departments.
- Gathering information from callers to generate workorders, schedule work with various residents and departments, transfer calls to the appropriate persons, and take messages.
- Typing and distributing various external and internal correspondences.
- Completing forms and documents as required
- Communicating with two-way radio as well as cell phones, email, and other means of communication.
- Recommending to the Director of Facility Maintenance and Director of Information Services policies, programs, or situations which need attention, correction, or resolution.
- Gathering, sorting, and routing correspondences for the Director of Facility Maintenance and Director of Information Services.
- Assisting residents and team members with questions concerning work requests, progress, and scheduling.
- Managing keys and pegs assigned to all team members.
- Managing and developing Maintenance and Information Services schedules.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- High school diploma required; Associate degree or relevant certification preferred
- Prior office experience is strongly preferred
- Must be Proficient in Microsoft products and have the ability to learn other computer software and programs
