Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator to establish objectives, organize, and manage the Education Services and Continuing Education Programs for our Clinical team members. In our Health Care Center, more commonly referred to as Mission Point, you will find our outstanding nursing team assisting residents in five distinct neighborhoods – specializing in long-term care, memory care and short-term rehab.

Job Description
 

As a Clinical Education Coordinator, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
 

• Proactively developing, administering, coordinating, assessing, and conducting clinical education as needed throughout CKV-TBHC.
• Serving as a CPR Instructor and assisting with maintaining annual compliance with all current Federal/State requirements.
• Providing orientation training for new clinical team members and coordinating orientation training for Team Members who complete nursing programs which would result in a change in job classification.
• Monitoring and assessing learning needs related to Continuing Education Programs for clinical issues as determined through evaluations, requests, observations, and/or regulatory compliance.
• Developing internal education programs based on the need as determined through DON, ADON, RN Coordinators and/or other Team Members.
• Monitoring and tracking required education to ensure compliance.
• Working in collaboration with the DON/ADON, coordinating student orientation with LPN/RN programs that come into our organization and following-up with any concerns.
• Coordinating and developing Nurse Aide/Nurse Education Sessions as deemed necessary by the DON and ADON’s to include scheduling dates, room reservations, announcement, video- taping, and follow-up.
• Assisting with educating student volunteers.
• Serving as a resource for all Clinical Team Members.

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.  
• 3-5 years of progressive teaching and supervisory work experience is preferred.
• Must possess a CPR instructor certification.
• Must possess skills in the following areas: active listening, organization, conflict resolution, effective communication, compassionate honesty and mentoring.
