Clinical Education Coordinator

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Clinical Education Coordinator who can teach and mentor our team to help ensure our residents are being met with the highest quality of care. This position administers clinical oversight across campus but will primarily be based in our Health Care Center. As a Clinical Education Coordinator working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.

This opening is a full-time, day shift position requiring flexibility to meet with off-shift and weekend-shift team members on occasion.

In our Health Care Center, more commonly referred to as Mission Point and licensed for 270 beds, you will find our outstanding nursing team assisting residents in five distinct neighborhoods – specializing in long-term care, memory care and short-term rehab. Job Description:

As a Clinical Education Coordinator, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Proactively developing, coordinating, assessing and conducting clinical education as needed throughout CKV.
• Providing orientation training for new clinical team members.
• Ensuring quality educational programs that meet federal/state compliance guidelines and correspond to the continuing education mission of CKV.
• Maintaining familiarity with related concepts, practices and procedures as acquired by continued training, specialized instruction, advance learning and/or experience.
• Developing solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation.

Education and Experience:

• Must be licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive work experience preferred including teaching and supervisory techniques.
• CPR instructor certification and continuing education as required per state/federal regulations.
• Must possess skills in the following areas: positive leadership skills, exemplary communication and public speaking skills, outstanding organizational skills and strong clinical skills.
