CNA – Brookside Memory Care Residence

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to become a part of our team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care. Our Brookside Memory Care Residence is a specialized personal care environment for individuals with a diagnosis of neurocognitive disorder or dementia, designed to provide an optimal environment during the intermediate stages of their disease. CKV team members work together to provide Brookside residents with guidance, cueing, the right level of stimulation and interaction with others who understand the progression of their condition.

Job Description:

As a CNA, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Providing physical and emotional support to residents with a variety of functional levels.
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and performing general housekeeping duties as well as serving and monitoring meals.
• Participating in the review/revision of resident support plans and family meetings.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents to nursing supervisors.
• Documenting provided care in electronic care tracker.
• Administering medications following successful completion of the state mandated course (provided by CKV).

Education and Experience:

• Must be currently enrolled in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience working with older adults preferred.
• Must possess a compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
