Painting Specialist

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Painting Specialist to become a part of our team and help ensure our campus is well-maintained in order to provide our residents with the highest quality of care. As a Painting Specialist working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.

Our current needs include:

• Full-time: Day shift working 75 hours per pay period (Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.); yearly on call rotation required.

Job Description:

As a Painting Specialist, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Preparing surfaces to be painted and painting them.
• Repairing and touching up small damages to wall coverings or wall surfaces.
• Selecting proper painting tools and equipment for the paint being used and the surface being covered.
• Painting signs.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area.
• Working with departments on color selections.
• Performing corrective and preventative work requests for routine maintenance.
• Responding for snow removal per CKV’s Snow Removal policy.

Education and Experience:

• 5 years’ experience in painting and wall coverings required.
• General knowledge of carpentry techniques required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must maintain excellent customer service.
