Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (Resident Assistants) to become a part of our Personal Care team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care. As a Resident Assistant working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.
 

Our current needs include:

• Part-time Evening Shift; working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. 60 hours every two weeks. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.(Benefits Eligible Position)
• Part-time Evening Shift; working 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. 28 hours every two weeks. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.

Personal Care, more commonly referred to as PC Mission Point, is designed for individuals who wish to remain independent when staying at home has become impractical or unsafe. Some of our residents might have limited mobility whereas others might be experiencing various degrees of memory loss. Job Description:
 

As a Resident Assistant, your scope of responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assisting Residents with activities of daily living and general housekeeping. Personal Care services include, but are not limited to, assistance with hygiene, bathing, dressing, incontinence management, applying/removing medical devices, and care of clothing. 
• Documenting observations and interventions in Residents’ medical records.
• Administering Resident medications and completing required documentation. Successful completion of state mandated training program required.
• Working in collaboration with Community Life to create a homelike environment and encourage Resident involvement.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be currently enrolled in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Post-certification experience is preferred but not required.
• Compassionate style of communicating with residents, families, team members and guests of CKV.
