CKV is currently seeking a Part-time Scheduling Assistant to help provide support to the Nursing Department, so that our team member schedules run smoothly and accurately. 

 

Our current needs include:

  • Part-time: Working 45 hours per pay period, 3 days per week.

 

Job Description:

As a Scheduling Assistant, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

  • Working in conjunction with the Scheduling Specialist to maintain and communicate the nursing department schedule based on established guidelines and parameters.
  • Utilizing the scheduling software and developing, maintaining and updating the working schedule for nursing team members in order to meet the needs of the neighborhoods.
  • Assisting in maintaining and tracking PTO requests and scheduling change forms.
  • Serving as back-up in completing payroll bi-weekly and working with the Transportation Scheduler on resident’s daily appointments as needed.
  • Communicating with team members daily to fill openings, call-offs, make-up weekends, etc. and ensuring daily communication as needed with Nursing Administration on any scheduling concerns per neighborhood.
 

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma required. Associates or relevant certificate program preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience in a long term care setting preferred. Office management or scheduling experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with web-based software programs, Microsoft Excel and Word, time and attendance systems and Windows required.
  • Must possess exceptional organization, multi-tasking and planning skills and be efficient with budgeting and managing resources.
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members in person and on the phone.
