Seasonal Groundskeeper

Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a Seasonal Groundskeeper to become a part of our team and help ensure we maintain an attractive and safe campus for our residents, villagers, team members and guests during the spring and summer months. As a Groundskeeper working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.

Our current needs include:

• Seasonal (Spring & Summer months) ; working Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job Description

As a Groundskeeper, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Landscaping maintenance tasks including mowing, weeding, edging, mulch installation, pruning, leaf collection, etc.
• Performing snow and ice removal, garbage and recycling collection and landscape installations/renovations.
• Performing maintenance of grounds vehicles and equipment including oil changes, greasing of parts, sharpening blades and minor repairs.
• Ensuring good customer relations and a high department image through personal contact and enforcement of quality standards.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license is strongly preferred. 
• Ability to read work related material and to follow directions.
• Pennsylvania applicator certification in category 6 and/or 7 preferred.
