Description
Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist in our Residential Living Department.
This individual will be working 10 hour shifts every weekend from 7a.m.-5p.m. (Saturday and Sunday) plus one additional 4 hour shift every Friday from 4p.m.-8p.m. In order to make this a benefit eligible position, we will also pay you 6 hours not worked!
SUMMARY
Responds to emergency situations and makes periodic home visits as well as maintains contact with villagers and family when needed. Evaluates villagers' needs and provides care as needed. Collaborates with physician and/or RN plans. Implements and manages nursing care for cottage and apartment residents. Works independently under consultative direction.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an approved program of practical nursing and is currently certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania. A minimum of 1-3 years professional clinical experience preferred. Maintains certification in CPR, AED & CLIA. Continuing education as required per state/federal regulations. Attends staff in-services as required. Access to PHI (Protected Health Information) will be based on Manager/Director approval related to job responsibilities.
